3. Share your document with your teacher using the Google Docs Share
function. Give her permission to Comment on your document.

4. After you've edited your document:

  • Copy it [CTRL + C].
  • Go to the About Tab on the top of this page and find your name.
  • After your teacher logs you in, Paste [CTRL + V] your corrected document there.

5. If you finish early do some listening activities at ello.org.

2 What's your reading level? Take an Oxford Graded Readers test to find out.

3 How do you get to school? Do you drive? Do you take public transportation? Do you walk?

  • Go to Google Maps Click the blue arrow on the right side of the search google maps bar for directions.
  • Type in your address and the school's address 5715 West Belmont Avenue, Chicago, IL
  • Highlight and copy your directions (CTRL + C).
  • Open Google Docs. Sign in and open a blank document.
  • Type the following sentence in your blank document: directions to school and underline it.
  • Paste your directions under this sentence.
  • Return to Google Maps and get directions from your house to another place you go to frequently—For example: work, church, your child's school, the park, etc. Copy and paste these directions into your Google Doc as well.
  • Would you like to visit a classmate? Ask one of your classmates their address and use Google Maps get directions form their house to yours.

3. Now let's learn how to recreate this handout yourself by making a table in Microsoft Word. Download the following Document and follow along with your teacher to recreate it.

4. When you finish, save it as My Classmates and upload it to your Google Drive. Select New/File Upload to upload it.
